OMG, am still in shock
Was out with my boy 22 months and a friend with her 9 month filly today at 1pm when its meant to be nice and quiet!
Both in bright yellow reflective clothing.
We were walking along the road approaching a blind corner. We could hear a car approaching head on really fast so we slowed down. . . stupidly thinking when he see the reflective and the horses he will slow down!!!
But no he flies round the corner in his Audi, see us and doesnt even slow down. He was right on our side of the road (Is so loucky our two youngster are so bombproof or he would have had them on his bonnet!) He was less than a meter away doing at least 40mph. We are so lucky they were ok.
Why are people so stupid sometimes, he could have killed all of us just cause he cant be pateint enough to slow down and wait an extra 30 seconds. . . We were so annoyed we didnt even get a chance to get his number plate!!!
I mean what else can we do? We went out a the quietest time possible (only saw a hanful of cars)
Were covered in reflective stuff.
Some people are just so clueless and unsafe.
I know not everyone knows horses can be unpredictable, and I know our horses were safe in traffic or we wouldnt have taken them out, but all horses/foals have to start somewhere and it idiots like him who will scar them for life!!
