Am surprised think Pidge may be getting the hang of dressage

Ok so have worked for the last week without the harbridge on and Pidge has been a pleasant surprise, working with his head in the correct position after warming up, though not quite tracking up, but am working on that

So I'm extremely chuffed to bits that all the hard work is starting to pay off, but..............
have entered a walk and trot test tomorrow night and was practicising it last night and he worked really nicely for the first half, not losing it after halting and saluting at X, but after the free walk on a long rein across the diaganol we kind of lost it in the trot after this

I couldn't get his attention at all and he went round doing his normal lama impression

So would be grateful for any tips on how to get him going in the second half like he does in the first half

They will give out the times Friday evening, so if you enter before then you should be fine. I am doing P10.
