so thats all good..but the BEST news ever is.....

i brought Marley in for a groom and a fuss, and i gave him a huge pile of leftover hay form Ted lol. He was so chilled and calm i thought hmmmm i wonder...now we all remember Marley's irrational fear of mounting blocks, well i got the mounting block and put it next to him, he moved away but there was no tenseness (?) in him at all, so i scratched his withers to reassure him and moved the block next to him. he didnt move. i stood on it and rubbed his belly on the other side, i then slid my arm a bit further under his belly and leant over him (tiptoes still on the block incase he moved so not full weight) but he didnt, he put his ears back a little and his head up then looked round and went back to munching, i did this a few times then got off the block strode up to it purposefully and put my foot next to his belly like i was about to get on then leant over him again with tiptoes on the block and he didnt move

i dont think ive been soooo happy in a long time lol he was always a thousand times better on the yard, but not that good and consideirng he was only tied up with a leadrope i though that was pretty amazing.

i know that might not seem like much but for those of you that have know of our issues in this area specifically you'll know what a big deal it is

(im planning to reback him next summer, so its looking positive)
