Ella my highland youngster is gonna be 3 this april she is a very grown up little youngster who has done well being placed at 11 out of 12 shows last year and placed at both county shows she did as a yearling. So has been out and seen a lot of the world already.
She has been walked in-hand for the past year to get her to see everything. However she really has no cares at all about traffic, pigs, other horses going past. Only thing she naps at it puddles so not bad really at all for her age.
So far ive long-reined her which she is good at, had a small sit on however never with tack and only for a second type of thing. Well today i rode and led her out with fi and when we got back to the yard i keep fi at got off fi and added fi's saddle onto Ella. Lent over her which she was fine with, she had her in-hand bridle on so i got on her. She didnt care less i was sat on her and started walking around the yard following fi around. Felt so good to be sat on her my little youngster for the first time properly and her just walking around not caring i was on her even if it was heavy rain as well. Somehow i think when the time comes she will be very easy to back if she is like this already as still a 2 year old .
