Pointless post!
Bought new horse on Saturday and took 4 hours to load so didn't get to new yard until after 5. Spent the day with him yesterday to keep him company and bond - i.e. him eating his dinner over me as I sat outside stable!
Turned him out today for first time and spent an hour in the field being a protective mummy (obviously made no difference)! He settled in after the head of herd accepted him - post kick. Stuffed my pockets with carrots to catch him at the end of day - to find him waiting at the gate. After dinner spent some bonding time scratching him.
All good so far dare I risk hacking him tomorrow haha!
