Amazing dentist visit today!

Had dentist out to my mare today, and he asked if I notice when she's in season is she mareish in any way etc, I replyed no, looking puzzled :/ she has canine teeth growing through and he says it's a rare thing for a mare it's because they have too much testosterone, basically my very pretty chestnut mare is a tomboy ! Anyone else had any experiences with this? X

Yep my old little mare had canines too!!

About 1 in 4 mares will get at least one canine tooth. No relation to seasonal behaviour.
