amazing weight loss...

I was pleasantly surprised this morning when i tacked Red up..

When we got him in August, we knew he was rather 'portly', and he was wearing a 52'' girth.
He's lost more and more weight, and i'd being borrowing girths for him, as Sol's were all too short......
Today, the 46'' was too long!!!
So i've been and bought him a new 44'' one.

He's lost 8'' from around his tum!

Wow thats fantastic!
My mare has gone down from about 490/495 kg to 470kg and should hopefully go down more (she's just 470 now)

Although my horse still looks fat (he's a 14.3hh very heavy weight Welsh Cob) he's now in a 46 inch girth too, when I got him he was in a 52 inch girth.

Just before xmas, i had to search high and low for a 56'' girth!

Its slowly going up more holes!

Beau is now too small for his 48" as it goes up to the top on both sides so off to get a new one tomorrow
