I've recently taken on a mare and want to find out more about her. Here is the background info:
The lady I had the mare from purchased her from a dealer in the Wolverhampton/West Brom area about five years ago.
The dealer told the lady that the mare was called Amber Rose and was a hanovarian. The dealer also said he would send on her papers.......guess what!
So after pestering the dealer the previous owner gave up and had the mare passported and chipped in 2010.
The only other info from the dealer (I'm trying to get his name) was that the mare had come from Great Yarmouth as the man who owned her was going to prison for a long time
Previous owner had her vet out to chip etc and was told that the mare wasn't a hanovarian and that she was most definately an ex racehorse.
I've done a check and there was an Amber Rose of near enough the same age, but cannot get hold of any pictures to see if this may be the same mare. I got in touch with the trainer who has no pictures and isn't the most helpful. I've also got in touch with the Owner at the time the mare was racing and they are waiting for pictures from me and vice versa.
So, whilst waiting for more info I thought I might post on here to see if anyone recognises this girl.

16.2hh Chestnut Mare with white sock on nearside fore. Also has a white triangle/snip of white on her offside rear pastern. She has a white blaze. She also has a dark patch/big spot on her offside quarter.
