Have read the article about the suffering those poor horses and donkeys went thru. I hope he goes to jail and gets his ass kicked there

Just a question though.... it says he bought the horses for one pound, I find this hard to believe-can anyone enlighten me?

He bought the horses for as little as £1. He is a known regular at the horse markets and was a regular at Southall before it closed down. I believe he also ran an ad in H&H each week.

but where do you get a horse for a pound, even at a market I found this hard to believe? I was just wondering if it was the papers sensationalising it?
