Looking for a new rain sheet and I have found an amazing deal on the Amigo Hero 6. I love Horseware and have a Rambo Duo I have been really impressed with, but this is only 600D as compared with the Duo's 1000D and I have heard the Amigo line can be a bit shoddy. Does anyone have this rug and would you recommend it? We don't get a lot of rain out here on the prairie so it would only come out for about a month a couple of times a year, but she is out 24/7 so I need something pretty durable.

The 600d are OK, mine has been used for two youngsters now, but only for a couple of months per rapidly growing horse. It's still waterproof but has never been tested in heavy rain/thunderstorms. See if you can get hold of the 1200d version at a good price.

I have bothe the Rambo Duo and a Hero 6 middleweight. I've been really pleased with the Hero, I've been using the Rambo liners in it and it's on a horse living out 24/7. It's a similar fit to the Rambo and I've been really pleased with it. I bought it as a spare but she's worn it more than the Duo this year as it's thicker esp with the heavy liner.
