my new amigo leaks like a sieve. so i'm going to return it, does anyone know horsewares returns policy i.e do they have to be cleaned to send back? as this is what local farmers shop is saying, especially seeing it's only a month old so it's not dirt really

I would think that you would have to return it to where you bought if from not Horseware?

And don't wash it as they could say the detergent is at fault.

I would take it back to the shop and ask for another. Quote the Sale of Goods act.

I have an amigo lightweight and I was sceptical with them being so cheap but have to say that I am VERY impressed with it (so far!) it has not leaked once.

Make sure you swap it for the navy blue version. The pastel colour ones are a much lower denier fabric at 600d and wont stand up to proper rain. The navy ones are 1200 denier and none of mine have ever leaked even in torrential downpours.

thanks for your replies i did try to take it back to where i bought it and they said it was horseware policy that they have to be cleaned. which i thought was a bit stupid as that would take of the waterproofer. so i've since manage to get hold of horseware and it's not there policy at all. so i'm getting a refund from the local shop
