Amigo rug sizing - now true to size (FYI)

Just though I would let people know, incase you are about to buy one. I got a size up after reading lots on here about them being small, but it was definitely a size too big, so I would say their new rugs are spot-on size wise.

They have brought out a couple of new styles recently I think?? Hero and mio or something like that if I recall correctly,maybe they have addressed their size and fit issues with this new range,hope so.

I love all horseware rugs,but would agree that usually they come up a tad smaller than other brands,always a nice fit though design wise

I have always used horseware rugs so rambo, Rhine, Amiga etc.
Rugs have always be well fitted. Never had a problem.

6ft lightweight Bucas.

6ft lightweight Amigo.

The Amigo is smaller than the Bucas, so I got her a 6ft3 Rambo Duo which fits.

We've got some of the new season stable sheets at ours, 6ft6/9 horses wearing 6ft amigos still.

Hi I have the amigo mio for my chunky lad hes a 6'3,so bought him a 6'3 and fits him very well have no problems with it at all.When my girl was had an amigo she too was in a 5'9 and fit her very well but she grew out of it.

I always buy Amigo rugs and find that they fit perfectly. Have 2 Dutch Warmbloods 16.1hh and 17hh (wear 6'9 and 7') and 1 Andalusian 15.2hh wears 6'3".

Just bought 2 rugs - 6,3 amigo rainsheet and 200g from same place, 200g fits perfectly, rainsheet is too tight!

I also had that, I bought a new 1200d no fill amigo rug , and it was wayyyyyyy too small.
No problem with other ones!

It depends what makes you are comparing them to. Horseware are smaller than Bucas, Shires, Dominick and Masta rugs of the same size.

I find the amigo's small all rugs 6ft EXCEPT the amigo which is 6'3"
