Just pondering should I go for 5 9 for saddler x sec d? I want it to last through winter and heard best to go bigger for an amigo?

Amigo rugs are great but would not be my choice for a growing youngster as they lack adjust-ability at the front.
Measure him now and go one size up on a rug that has a buckle front.

Hiya, I have Amigo rugs for my just turned 2 year old as they are the best fit around the neck, she is a Welsh sec D and currently stands at 15.0 hh and in 6'3" amigo rugs which should last her all winter now. They are a little bit long by an inch or two over her bum which I don't mind as that means they should last a bit longer and the necks fit perfectly whereas other makes tend to slip back as they are too gapey at the neck. I would highly recommend the Amigo rugs for youngsters!
