So that it doesn't become lost on the 'RIP Amy Winehouse' thread......
http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/aug/23/amy-winehouse-toxicology-reports

I hope those of you who said that she was a waste of space and probably deserved her sad ending etc will have the humility to come on here and say publically that they were 'wrong' and 'out of place' with their comments. I would say that very few, if any, will do so. Bunch of baa'ing sheep.. :(

PS, thanks Gugglebum :)

well it now begs the question what did she die of?? and how the hell are they going to find out now she's been cremated!!!!
us normal folks don't get to bury/cremate our loved ones until a cause of death has been established:mad: my hubs worked for the coroners years ago and even a 100 year old woman had to have a post mortem to establish cause of death because 'old age' isn't an actual cause.
And sorry but i still don't feel any sympathy for her, only her family who have been left to pick up the pieces

Its disgusting, the things people will say about someone they didnt even know, yet those close to her could only describe her as warm and loving.

I listened to the interview with her god daughter and my heart broke for her.

RIP such a bright talent.

I suspect her heart had sustained permanent damage from the cocaine and there were probably circulatory probelms as a result of the heroin use. Drug abuse casues a myriad of unseen problems which never get better even when they are off the drugs as the damage is irreversible:(

She was cremated so quickly in line with the Jewish faith - it is usually within 24 hours. Any necessary samples - blood tests etc would have been taken prior to that but I have no doubt any of the doctors she was seeing would have documented the damage the drugs had already done - she had emphasyema which is again as a result of heavy smoiking and usually seen in much older people - again this can contribute to heart disease. Her liver was probably also damaged from both the drugs and drink - so thats heart, lungs and liver - add to that renal damage and its the full set:(

She was too young and probably believed it wouldn't happen to her.:(

ahhhh it's ok to like someone you don't know but not to dislike them:confused::rolleyes:

Who said i liked her???

I adore her music, her voice was second to none and her songwriting was beautiful. she was very gifted.

But like her as a person, well ive never met her so i cant possibly say. i would never turn around and say she deserved to die though, or use her death to make jokes and gain cheap laughs (not implying you have, although many others have)

Could I please ask that people don't use this as an opportunity to come on here again and say nasty things about her. The last thread was distressing to read in the lack of humanity shown by a lot of posters.

Well said.

The whole Amy Whinehouse thing is a sad farce from start to finish, but people do "just die" unexpectedly regardless, and at the end of the day another newspaper to litter the hedgerows with and rot and blow away yawwwwwwwwnnnn.

I do hope she is at peace now.

Well said.

Hear hear - I was genuinely shocked by some of the reactions shown on my Facebook News Feed about the way people said she deserved it, she was nothing but a junkie etc etc. At the end of the day a family have lost a loved one and for them to listen to cruel comments makes a truly hideous time even worse...

i would say her heart gave out. great singer, didnt agree with the things she did, but it was her life. shows the damage drink and drugs can do.
