Hi there. For the last three years or so, Ive been using wood pellets for bedding.
Ive liked them because theyre easy to store, easy to use and importantly economical.
However the price of pellets has gone through the roof. I used to pay less than £200 for a whole pallet of 65 bags at 15kg each. White horse energy are now saying that theyre prices are increasing to over £300 per pallet soon.
Other suppliers are close behind them.
So my question to you, what other bedding would be a good economical replacement to pellets? I like pellets but if Im honest, the beds look awful, the beds are damp in winter and dusty in summer so now they are so expensive, Im struggling to justify using them anymore.
Thanks in advance.
