Ok not this may across as a very dim question but I have never had to claim on insurance on my own horses and this is with reference to my friends pony who was put to sleep yesterday following colic which resulted in a twisted gut.
She has had major colic surgery in the past following constant bouts of colic over a long period of time and the vet was unable to find out the reason for it. So they opened her up for investigations yet found no reason for the colicing. As far as I am aware she is no longer insured for colic surgery but what I am wondering how does that sit with the horse being put to sleep? Is she still covered for death
Told you it would be dim
