went unaffiliated sj. Not sj for a few wks. Went t o jump warm up spread jump, horse v keen, then refused at last second and I ended up on feet in middle of spread!

Went in to jump 75cm- way too hot i arena, like when you walk into a conservatory. Consequently didn't ride the best, doing fine up to no. 7 then again horse stopped at last minute and fell off again in middle of a spread!

Decided to do 85cm, jumped brilliantly. I finished my round and noticed everyone still looking at me, realised I hadn't seen any timers, then saw jump no.10 right next to me so got 4 faults for my stupidity!- I walked course but only saw 9 jumps. 6th place as hardly any clears and one of fastest 4 faulters.

Then on way home broke down as ran out of diesel (gauge doesn't work) and blocked the entrance to a car boot until a farmer towed me into a field! Oohps.

What a nightmare! why do you think she's stopping? At least she was good in the 85, just pilot error, lol thats something I would do!

Heat wise it was'nt too bad at Thornton, just really bad horseflies by the Working Hunter.

Did'nt know your petrol gauge does'nt work, keep a spare can of diesel in there for emergencies!! Did Keith come and rescue you?
