I just sort of started joining in on here I think, without an intr, have noticed a few intros appearing, and, well I'm bored! So here goes!

I am Jo....31 and currently laid up with a broken knee after some pillock (random drunk person) kicked me in the knee on a work night out.

Which means I'm desperately missing spending time with my boys:

Snip is a 17hh, rising 8 WBxISH gelding with MANY many many health problems! We've battled and defeated stomach ulcers but in mid 2010 a muscle biopsy confirmed he suffers from Recurrent Exertional Rhabdomyolysis (Tying up) and has been mostly out of work for over a year. I started building him up by riding and leading him last summer, but then he ripped a big gash in his leg and was back out of action for 2 months (and £1500!!!Arrrrgh!!)

When he was in work, we were starting to do ok Dressaging, and a little bit of jumping at home. I'm hoping that I can bring him back into work i the spring when the weather warms up. Possible he'll never be more than a light hack though :(

Because Snip is never going to be the competition horse I bought him to be, or possibly even the riding horse I want him to be, I bought myself a new baby horse, Rhythm!

Rhythm is a 17hh, 3.5yr old ID who's done a couple of months under saddle before coming to me, and I managed 3 weeks of riding before my injury forced him into an early winter break (I'd already planned to give him January off to do a bit of growing and playing)

Rhythm, hopefully will be a nice allrounder who will do some decent dressage, but also give me some fun out jumping and hunting

I also have Bert! Bert is my 18 year old black Shetland gelding, I've owned him since he was 2, bought him off the meat man at Melton Market with the intention of backing him and selling him. Oops! He has a home for life with me but is currently a perpetual loan pony going from home to home teaching kids how fun Shetlands can be! Bert has dine everything, SJ'd, XC'd, hunted, showed, pony club camped....you name it he's done it, and is officially the coolest pony in the world!

Thanks!! They're not looking so lovely right now! Snip looks more like a puddle than a horse, and when Bert went off to his new home last weekend I had to turn the hose on him, rug n all!!

Oh, I supose I should include Molly even though she's now gone back to her owner....I had Moll on loan over the summer last year. She was brill fun!
