Went to a flyball tournament yesterday. On Thursday I was planning to run all 3 dogs in different teams.
The best laid plans ...........
Skye has developed an infection in her toe so is off games for a while. Going back to vet on Wednesday so will know more then.
Yes, vets again!

Jess for some reason, started off by running well in the first race, then inexplicably was refusing to run in the second. Absolutely no idea why--she is fit and healthy and loves her flyball. She has been training brilliantly.
I couldn't see if anything spooked her. I really am at a loss, and a bit worried why she wouldn't run. She was a bit "down" for the rest of the day, but nothing else noticable. Quite worrying.
The UP part was that Monty did his first Starters competition.
He was absolutely brilliant. I was so pleased with him. His team came 3rd so took a rosy home from his first tournament. Clever boy

goodness your dogs like to keep you on your toes dont they! I hope both Jess and Skye feel better soon and Jess was just having an off day.
Well done Monty! x

Thank you both.
I truly don't know why I am having such rotten luck at the mo. I've had dogs for 22 years and have never had such a run of things happening.
My vet loves me! I'm keeping the business going well.lol

What worries me is that these toe infections are notoriously difficult to heal, or so I am told.
I am seriously fed up.
As for Jess, well I am at a loss to understand.I wish they could talk and she could tell me what's wrong. There are no signs or symptoms to give any reason for her actions yesterday.
