Well.....
hubby changed hovis into the pelham and he and my friend rode him this morning (I'm away with work again).
My friend had to have a "word" with him as he was being a bit silly to start with but got him jumping nicely and really listening to her. Hubby then got on and reported back he had much more control and he was much better behaved today.
so......
they are both taking him to the little comp tomorrow. Hubby will take him in a clear round then my friend might (if he behaves) do a little class on him.
So can i have big big HHO vibes that all goes well and the Destroyer behaves himself? I'm gutted i'm not there but so grateful to my friend and hubby for taking him out to get him some more experience.
I can at least live with the fact his first ever rossette he won with me!!

Sending loads of ((((((vibes))))) for Hovis, your OH and friend.
I love heavy horses and know how strong they can be, glad to know that there is more control in the Pelham.
If all else fails you can send him to me
