Hi everyone *waves*
Due to the rain I have found myself at the computer today and have spent more time than I intended on it mainly due to this damn forum
I know I have been away for a while but life has been a little hectic what with work, the worry with Colin plus the acquisition of yet another horse (which makes five in total ALL GREY
)
The new horse is a lovely 5 year old PRE mare called LLuna Romba, she is 16hh and the sweetest thing on four legs, have to say though I woke up the day after she arrived and thought - bl==dy hell, what have I done! I now have five horses! In a fit of panic I decided to sell Celestial
and sent her away to be backed - placed all the ads and now have someone really interested in her. Trouble is she is now back at home and I am having second thoughts about the whole thing, especially as poor Colin's future looks uncertain at the moment
Sirena is back on the BD circuit competing elementary and improving all the time - God I love that horse. The spanner in the works with her is that there is a strong possibility that she is carrying a cream gene, which in the andalusian world is very very rare and apparently makes her the only graded mare in the country carrying that colour - soooo decisions to be made there too, vet suggested embryo transfer - if only the spanish would allow it
I think I will definately put Lluna in foal - my favourite stally is only an hour away. Trouble is I am still awaiting her passport from Spain - Weezy will know how long that takes!
I apologise to Airedale, but for the first time in my life I have gone against my principles and gone for an imported horse - promise not to do this again as I truly do believe in buying british!
Anyway sorry for the huuuuge post - jaffa cakes to all who get to the end
