Well today i took him out again after lunging the last two days. He is so good on the lunge now i think we've cracked that
.
Anyway i got him in and he was good, i got him ready and led him out the stable and down the path to the driveway. He went streight down and didn't nap in the yard like he normaly does
. He was good for me to get on and walked streight on without any fuss. He stopped a once when a dog barked at him but i kicked him on and he went
I got off to lead him past the KILLER pig as yoyo would not go past unless Herbie went first And it did run at the fence again so it gave Herbie a bit of a fright to but he followed me passed and i got back on. We carried on up the drove road and he stopped a few times but again when i kisked him on he went
. It was all going well till we got to the sheep. Herbie desided he wanted to stay with the sheep and planted himself on the spot. When i kicked him on he just went backwards
So i got off and led him a short distance and got back on. He tryed one more time to stop but i kicked him on and he went.
He was good for the rest of the ride and we even had 2 trots (rather unwilling and slow but a trot none the less). He even went in front on the way home past the KILLER pig
I'm so pleased with him today i don't know when i am able to hack him out again but i hope he continues to improve. He will be a nice pony oneday
