The horses I told you about on my last post are all doing much better now. The results have not come back yet seem to have taken ages not too sure why. Both shetland and the chestnut I was taking about seem to be doing a lot better.

Little shetland is not wobbling as much and is much more alert and was taking him for walks yesterday. Th Vet seems to think it was ragwort poisoning or herpes.

Would you not take your horse of the hay if it was herpes or is it not hay related??

So good news all round

Thanks for the help

xx

If it is definitely herpes then it won't be hay related. However, I wouldn't put the ponies back on the suspect hay until you have the results back. I would also check the hay thoroughly for ragwort anyway - is always a good idea to do this in any circumstances.

Glad to hear they are both improving.
