An update on my quest to find a new horse!

First of all, thanks to all of those that have helped keep me going over the last few months. I had nearly given up all together on finding a new horse that was a- sound b-suitable and c- in budget. As fate would have it I ended up buying a horse that literally is less than 5 minutes from my house. I also ended up buying something I didn't really think I would - a ex-racer mare! I am more of a gelding person, but have had some really nice mares in my life.

I still can't quite believe I have done it! She is so clever and willing, it is really exciting to have something to train again and I am so lucky to have found her! Now I can join in again on the Weekend plans!

Lol, she is literally the sweetest mare (at the moment). I hope that she's going to be a lover not a fighter. She's very tolerant of my old gelding, who's a dirty perve. Fingers crossed she stays sweet and innocent.
