An update on my three...

What a weekend!

I finally moved over to our new yard on Sunday after putting beds down and taking all my stuff over on Saturday

But someone remind me not to move again, I was completely shattered by Sunday afternoon

Monday morning was a bit nerve wracking going over to do my horses, but I soon got into the swing of things and even rode the two girls in the gorgeous indoor arena

However, Monday afternoon I started feeling pretty rotten and have come down with the worst cold in history

I was supposed to be competing Han today with the hope of getting our second petplan elementary qualifier, but I just cannot face it

I have spent pretty much all day in bed and actually feel worse, not better

Grace has been going ok but she is still holding herself whenever I pick her up in the contact. Because of this I have been working her quite deep and low and only picking her up for short periods. We have an appointment with the chiropractor on Friday, so fingers crossed he can find something that is causing her to be a bit grumpy and tight when in a more uphill contact!

We are strange creatures aren't we! You've been under a lot of stress for a few weeks and as soon as that stress is relieved (horses comfy in new yard - no need to worry anymore) you've succumbed to what is after all a virus

It's the same thing that makes so many people ill over Christmas.
Give yourself time to recover then start enjoying yourself

I just hate change

I have been worked up about moving, and then incredibly nervous once I had moved... it still feels alien, like being the new kid at school

I am not a big fan of change either but it spices the life up once it has happened!

I am sure you will settle soon and an indoor school sounds like a fab place to be in winter
