I am so, so, SO pleased with the little fella recently!
Firstly, some may remember we were trying to figure out why on earth he fell over on the road, at an almost standstill, and being all weird that day. Well we gave him a week off, and put him on sugar beet (never thought i would do this, hes a nutcase as it was!), also our friend and another liverey does homeopathy so she said she would come up with something for him (cant remember what its for now). But he is a different horse! He's much brighter and happier in himself and hes back to normal
I've been taking him to some jumping clinics renently, now, last winter we went to these and he was a nightmare, galloping off, running out, bucking, napping and all hell breaks loose when hes there! This winter the instructor couldnt believe he was the same horse, hes got a new bit (was in a pelham, now a tom thumb) and last weekend he was super, the groundwas a little frozen so we did grid work. He loved it so much he forgot to misbehave
Loads of carrots for the little man!
Today i took him to a rally, took us half an hour to load him
and was fairly hyper. Were now in the top class with 15hh horses
and did get a few, omg what is the hairy cob doing in this group looks, but we just pootled along and ended up jumping the same height as them (3'6
) And again behaved like a little angel.
So pleased with him at the moment, really looking forward to the summer with him!
No pictures this time, will have loads when we get out and about to competitions though!
Hot chocolate for everyone
