First there was a blizzard, then torrential rain, then more snow. I declared it a work day from home, and so took doglets out for 45 minutes to the dog park, where they proceeded to stand like statues. So we went home, and have yet to venture out again.

Honestly, we can deal with rain, we can deal with snow, but an alternating blend of the two makes for lousy dog-walking weather.

I'm going to sleep off this rubbish day:

And I'm going to stand here all indignant until you find a stuffed animal and throw it for me:

Oh, for some autumnal crispness:

Or a little August sweat:

Despite the obvious huffs going on they are both looking good:)

If its any consolation its crap weather here for dog walking at the moment as well - either to muddy or too cold to enjoy it:(

Aye, not too bad for two middle-agers (Stella likes to think she's the Demi Moore of the canine world).

We went out again. Dog park is five inches of mush, so no-go there. Traipsed round the streets for half an hour and came back home. I feel as if my dogs have not had a proper hoon since November, as they tend to pathetically trot through the snow/slush rather than gad about in it. On the plus side, at least they clear the snow in the city. They don't bother de-icing the pavements in Connecticut, and with thick black ice on the ground, it's impossible to take your dog for an evening stroll.

Another 6-12 inches of snow forecast for this evening. *Sigh*
