Anal Carcinoma , cancer of Anal Gland

Our dog just had a pea sized lump removed from anal gland, result came back positive for cancer, anyone any experience if this .Thanks

Yes I lost my second German shepherd to this. I think the key is early detection before it's spread, unfortunately in my case, although only a small lump, it had already spread to lymph nodes and lungs. I now ask for a rectal exam for my older dogs as part of the yearly check up. Fingers crossed for you and your dog x
