A couple of weeks ago I submitted a post about anal glands. I was advised to use Psyllium. I duly bought some and my little dog (11kgs) has been on it for about a week. She has also been on Nutramega. Her coat is now fantastic and the itchy scurf has disappeared which I put down to the nutramega. With regards to the psyllium I only sprinkle some on her food. This morning her poo was (and I kid you not!!) over 12" long!!! (Almost as long as she is!) I was so amazed I took a photo of it!!! I also found another one the same length in the garden that must have been a day or two old. Surely it's not good for them to poo this amount???? She is on the raw diet so her poo's were only very small before I started feeding it. However the munching of her anal glands has stopped.
