So its a beautiful sunny fresh Spring Day.

What have you all done with your horses today?

I have given mine a shower to get the imprint of "Poo Pillow" off his face ....lovely:-)

Then subjected him to a double lining session where I threw in some squares and triangles as well as the normal circles to keep his brain ticking over.

I then put him in the grass paddock and sat and read a book whilst he cooled off

Not such a lovely spring day here I'm afraid - april showers instead! I have poo picked, changed rugs and had hugs with my girl, I'll lunge later as I have a lesson tomorrow and getting her to concentrate on flatwork after a couple of days off works me far too hard!
 
Not a nice day here either, windy and rainy :( But managed to ride when the rain went away for a while, but was still rather windy lol So were both chillexing untill tee time :cool:
 
*laughs* It was more 'parky' than 'fresh' here this morning!

Well, my lad has been back in work for 5 weeks after a long time off due to snow and illness, so after 5 weeks hacking we've started the cantering (yippee!) and this morning tried to remember what circles look like :rolleyes:

PS Chavhorse, did yours immediately go and acquire a new poo stain? Mine would!
 
Well its a poor 10 °C with SSW around 10 mph here (according the Met office :D) but it looks rather cloudy out there and I'm pretty chilly sat here in my office, no doubt it will rain as soon as I tack up. :rolleyes:

Will be riding my cretin this evening, called on my way to work this morning to feed them and he was laid down on the old left overs from a round bale of hay that was put out in the field during winter, he obviously thinks it's his little straw bed.

No he will save that for his nightly do the biggest softest poo he can achieve then settle down and rest his head in it ritual! If I am very very lucky he will also do one he can rest his hip on for the duration of the night.

What have I done..... bugger all so far:eek:, as I am sat in an office...... :rolleyes:however, I may school or hack later, I haven't decided:D:D
 
Thanks for asking ChavHorse! Today my daughter competed in her first showjumping and dressage competition! She was with three other girls from her school, where I teach and we came home with a second and third in the jumping and a fourth in the dressage (my daughter didn't get a rosette but she didn't fall off or forget her test either):) Sun was shining and all my horsey-mummy-type-friends were there too.

Congratulations to Daughter on her first competition, may there be many many more:-)
 
Taught a couple of lessons (I love teaching the little ones on their little ponies, so much fun!) but done nothing with my own horses yet.
Had a little cocktail party last night, so I'm not really up for Rossi's antics just yet :p
 
I had to take mine to the vets for more tests :(.

Hopefully we've now found the problem and I can start gentle exercise in a few days time.

Will be going back later to ride the other one (although knowing my luck it'll be raining by then!)
 
Been piddlin down here ( sunny cornwall? ) all day , but if it does stop ever me and the boy will be off for a jolly old jaunt , shan't hold my breath though - probably go blue and die. lol
