After the excitement of last year's pink wrap in aid of breast cancer this year we are wrapping in purple for well child!

Things are really starting to move on here now. We have some second cut ryegrass hay (first cut was haylage for a racehorse trainer customer).

We are baling plenty of these little PITAs for horsey customers (until last year we hadn't baled any of these for YEARS but they are back in high demand!)

Combining has started but only for crimping so far

First cut silage was finished a while ago

We are surrounded by pink haylage bales but I've never seen or heard of the purple ones before.

I love haymaking time :)

Love the purple! Those little PITAs are what single owners at DIY yards buy, the local hay supplier brings in 100 bales every week to our yard.

We have a mix, we were limited to one pallet of pink last year as it was so in demand!
