Odin

He survived the long journey, sister rode him and he went beautifully so she's got a last minute entry in the novice at Smiths Lawn on Monday. As you can see he's a little fat, lacking muscle and unfit but he did go round an intermediate a couple of weeks ago

He's an 8 year old by Fleetwater Opposition (another one!! Takes yard count up to 4) and he's a real sweetie, should be a fun horse!

Yes, he's very cross as he's been turfed out of his stable to next door- wouldnt lower himself to even go in it for the girls, luckily he trusted mummy *rolls eyes*
also he hates being left out at photo time, so he's posing in the background

didnt come directly from her but yes, she is the previous owner!!
Nice horse, we saw him as a 5 yr old and liked him even more then, we're hoping he'll regain his old sparkle as he has all the potential

I wasn't really, i was going to be, but i was up there when Deb was diagnosed with cancer (i started 2 days before they were told how long she had), i was the only one riding in the yard for about 3 months (dec, jan, feb) pretty much running things, (riding up to 10/12 horses a day) i was only 18 at the time, and it all got a bit too much!!
Mum and Dad have known him since before i was born!
All VERY sad really

GIVE??!! Blimey, what is the girl on?!!

So so sad, poor J, his world fell apart. Must have been quite an experience- fantastic team of horses he's built up now but certainly not suited to every rider. Did you see K has taken it up a bit more seriously now? I think he's so thrilled she's enjoying it, the nicest babies are reserved for her nowadays.

Yep, you're right, they arn't veryones cup of tea, and if i was honest, they arn't mine either.. i did alot with His Lordship Op as a 5yr old, and liked him alot, but didn't really get on with any of the others

(and most of them have turned out top class too)

Wow, thats fantastic that you have Odin now Boss! Can't believe how much muscle he is lacking though,it says it all about FH doesnt it really?! He's done so well to do what he has.

Seriously though, its lovely that the horse has found its way to a good rider at last, youv'e got a real team of horses now!

God, I really want a Fleetwater baby!!

Han might be going straight back in foal next year if I keep seeing so many gorgeous fleetwater offspring!
