We had the saddler out last Saturday. A few months ago one of the other owners at our yard bought a new saddle from her and she wanted it checked, but was going on holiday. So I said I would get the pony in and see to it. The saddle was a bit tight so she took it away with her to adjust.
The pony owner got back today and I explained what the saddler had said. All fine so far, until she went into the tack room and her saddle was still there - I gave the saddler the wrong one.

In my defence it was the same make but belonged to a smaller pony so no wonder it was a bit tight. Funnily enought the owner hasn't noticed.
I've left a frantic message for the saddler in the hope that she hasn't done it yet. Fingers crossed.

Poor you, I hope you get hold of the saddler in time. Hopefully they won't be that efficient and have done it already, although it would be sods law that they have!

I'll let you off this time - we had a bit of a laugh about it ourselves. Not sure the saddle owner will find it so funny though - at least she's a very sweet person, so I might get away with it.
