Now I remember why I love horses!

Went out hacking last night - got onto the gallops and just let rip - overtook everyone else and won by miles....was a great night with us both egging on our horses and the horses loving it.

Nothing like a good blast to blow away the cobwebs.....

What's everyone got planned riding wise this weeked? We're hoping to go up to Epsom downs!

Can you tell me where these gallops are? You are in Surrey?

We have a massive stretch of common right behind the stables....about 30 acres with long stretches of gallops in different directions. Great for exercise as some of it is very hilly and because it's right behind us it's good for the winter.

It's based in banstead.

I used to have my horse in Headley so could have stright on to the epsom downs!! The gallops are fantastic- just remember you cant use them until after midday
