Well the cold and windy eveing started off with us being car park attendants (something else to add to the CV!), but once everyone was parked the fun could begin!
Andrew was delayed on his flight, so Bettina started the demo off by introducing 2 horses (Moonfleet and Rothglen) and describing what she looks for in an event horse. Then she brought in Looks Like Red (who has serious movement!) and showed us her warm up routine and what she's been working on with him.
Then on of her WP, Diaki, came in riding a horse called Baloo (for sale!) and showed us some flatwork and Bettina showed us a bit of her teaching style.
Andrew arrived and they answered some questions and then Bettina rode Moonfleet whilst Andrew explained a bit more about the horse.
Break (and jump putting up!) and then the second session was jumping, which was brilliant. Showed us the difference between riding different lines to combinations.
Above all they were really nice people and seem to get on really well! I was brave, and whilst putting jumps up I asked bettina about her breeches, which were lovely, and she said they were Kentucky ones and then proceeded to tell me how great they were (guess who sponsers them!). She and Andrew were really lovely.
