Anyone had an animal communicator out to their horse before and what did you think about it?

I'm a bit sceptical, but also quiet interested. I have a 5yr old new forest pony who is very nervous and lacks trust in people which has got worse recently. I've owned her since 5 months old and have always had her in my care other than for just under a year when I had an accident and she went to someone else for a while.

My farrier was out yesterday, went to say Hi to her over stable door (she's had this same farrier since 6 months and never had a bad experience with him) and she ran to the back and hid in the corner! She even had a melt down when my chiropractor came out to see her and just walked over to her and said hello almost barged me through the stable door to get away from her.

I'm having the vet out to have her eye sight checked as two people now have mentioned this, but she has reactions if I flick my fingers near her eyes and has no other signs it could be sight but I'm willing to try anything.

Back on track to my post, has anyone had good experiences with a communicator and can anyone around the Gillingham / Rainham / Upchurch Kent area recommend me someone how will come out?

Thanks

I have had good experiences with a communicator. She really helped me understand what was going on in the herd dynamics of my horses and also in their individual personalities (along with other stuff that was a bit more personal about my mum and family, which she had absolutely no clue over). Since having her out and taking her advice on some aspects of handling my horses, things have improved a whole heap.
Nothing else has changed (ground work, expectations of behaviour - ie no bad manners etc, my instructors are the same...) and people who haven't seen my boys in a while, frequently comment how much more content they look and they are not as withdrawn. It was a last resort for me and I took it with a pinch of salt but I did have a good experience.

Can't help with communicators in your area as my lady is in West Aus, but my suggestion would be to go in with an open mind. Don't give too much away initially and let them tell you what they tell you. :) If you get any benefit out of it, awesome. I hope you get answers.
