A friend of mine was made redundant and started washing and repairing rugs. Picking up and delivering at yards.

She took classes with the Cumbria School of Saddlery and also repairs tack.

She's doing great now and business is booming.

I'm in the same boat here. Sick to death of my current job and desperately want to get back to doing horses full time. Trouble is I want to work for myself to give me back the control over my life which i seem to have lost due to demanding employers.
I'm looking at the Equine assisted therapy road. Not too demanding but should be able to be made to pay its own way and still giving me the opportunity to do what i love best which is being with my horses.
