Today Ive changed Darcy & Diesels Insurance from Tesco to Animal Friends which is giving me greater coverage of vet fees for less than I was paying at Tesco. Last year I was paying £33 per month for both dogs and the new Tesco policy is £51.17 and Animal Friends are £32 per month. The reason Im putting this on here is if anyone else takes out a policy with them and gives me the details they will donate £5 to an animal charity of my choice. Whilst it isnt a large sum of money if enough people did so it would mount up. All you need to do is give me your name and postcode and I contact Animal Friends.

I realise everyone will not be comfortable with this so if you take out a policy with them and get a friend to do the same thats £5 to an animal charity of your choice.

I'm already with Animal Friends otherwise I'd take you up on it. It used to be the case that if you liked them on Facebook they'd donate £1 to their animal charity of the month too. :)

Are they OK? While stressing about dog insurance, that one came up way cheaper than anything else. But then lots of horrid reviews of them online, so got cold feet about them. Anyone with experience of them, let me know! I am more than desperate to change from my blood-sucking current firm.

I've just gone with them as well! Read a few poor reviews onine but did a search on here and the majority was positive

You can even get poor reviews on Petplan, the thing is there are an awful lot of numpties out there who expect to be covered for everything. The fact they have paid BC out is encouraging as you never know how good they are until you make a claim.

They coughed up £800 for investigation into a very vague bladder problem, payment was with the vet within a week, no complaints at all from me. :) I liked that all documentation, confirmation of payment, receipt of claim etc. was emailed to me instead of having to wait for the post.
