Animal rescue last night.

For anyone that saw animal rescue last night. It was my vet that did the standing op on pony for locked stifle. Nick is a lovely vet and always explains things in plain language without talking down to me.

It was very sad to see the seal that had a fishing net on it's neck so tight it looked like it's head would fall off, but they did say they caught it a few days later and treated it.

I can't bear to watch programs like that WW. I know it goes on and I know there are some herioc, happy-ending stories out there. But some of the deliberate and accidental misery and cruelty that human beings inflict on the animal world is sickening beyond belief. But nice to hear your story x

I just didn't get that op - what happend to the ligament when it was released, what was it attached to? Obviously I am no vet and didn't catch the whole thing but I didn't fully understand what he'd done. Clever though if it works.
