The piece attached to the above-captioned title is ridiculous. somersetlive.co.uk
It is time hunting folk stood up for their rights and the fact they pay Council Tax. Therefore they can do as they please wherever and whenever within the law.

They may pay council tax, but like the rest of us - they certainly can’t do whatever they want, whenever they like.

It sounds (to me) like a case of the hunt not necessarily behaving illegally while hunting, but getting up people's noses by failing to acquire the relevant event / road closure permits. I have no knowledge of the hunts in question but they behave that way up here - arrogant and high handed, as if they think the rules don't apply to them. I can see why it annoys people. I don't understand it really - if I hunted I would want to do everything by the book.
