Hi all,
Bit of an odd one this but would value your opinions.
Sec A has a bruised sole, near fore, clearly visible as red area around toe, seen by vet and farrier, all things done that can be and cold Animalintex applied with plastic bag over, then a sock then vetwrap....pony out in the field 24/7 and walking easier.
Here is the wierd thing.
On removal of the poultice today....the toe area of the poultice was white...but where the poultice had gone down the clefts either side of the frogs....thick, black, very smelly pus.
So....can Animalintex cause this or do you think we are looking at an abcess as well?
Many thanks
regards
