News item on TV this morning. Animals being dumped at RSPCA centres, owners saying they cant afford them anymore.
I wonder how many horses the rises in prices aregoingto affect? horse feed is much dearer than last year, fuel prices going too and from the yard etc. Given the few MPG tractors do and land going into bio-fuels maybe hay/haylege will go up too this summer.
I fear for some animals it will be a bleak time.

Unfortunately, if prices go up much more, I am going to have to seriously consider taking my horse home to my parents, which means that he will just be a happy hacker

as all we have is a field.

I find it quite sad. And I really hope that someone organises a fuel protest and cripples the country some how, as this rubbish has gone on long enough!! I dont get a cost of living increase with my job, so I have less and less each year to live on!
