This video was posted on facebook by a friend of mine.

I know Japan has a huge crisis on its hands and I do feel sorry for all the lives lost and affected by the tsunami. But I always think about the animals too, the animals who are left behind, left to suffer and in some cases left to die.

I hope some people on here might donate something to some of the animal charities in Japan who are also going to face a huge increase in numbers and also face a huge job of catching all the now homeless animals. Fingers crossed some will get reunited with their owners :)

I often wonder and weep at what the animals go through too, and that dog is so loyal to his friend, tears in my eyes. Hope they were taken somewhere warm with food after the vid was taken.
 
Thank you for posting that... I was wondering what happens to the animals in a situation like this... I really hope that there is an agency out there helping those animals......

Realy brought a tear to my eye... I hope both dogs do make it... would be nice to see a happy outcome.....
 
We were discussion the animals earlier at work and wondered, if Japan was an "animal-le" country and how many were now in trouble. :(
We did find a rspca type organisation on the net in Japan but it hadnt been updated.
