Just been to look at the programme for the International Dressage at Hickstead this week and there is a notice saying Anky has had to withdraw because of illness.

What a shame, she isn't always my favourite rider, but I was looking forward to seeing her ride "in the flesh", as have never seen her live before.

Well have to say that I never missed her!!! Had three wonderful packed days watching all the dressage and its was FAB! Carl Hester rode two beautiful tests that I saw and there was some absolutely beautiful horses.

Plus I just loved the fun Eventers Challenge class where some top SJ and Eventers had to do a bit of dressage and then a course of jumps, it was so much fun and watching John Whittaker jump a 1.65m upright 3 times in a row in a dressage arena with hardly any room, was simply breathtaking.

Wonderful weather, horses, riders and venue.
