I did a SJ group lesson with her last year, but it was just with my mum & she was great!

Nigel Taylor's sister, isn't she? she's evented for years, up to (and incl, i think) 4 star, very stylish rider. she used to ride for the Strettons, had some very good horses. she retired from competing a couple of years ago, and got her FBHS last year, i'm pretty sure.
she's quite petite and blonde, if you're trying to picture her! her married name's Anne Marie Evans, i think she competed under that name after marriage.
sorry if i'm wrong on any of this!

Yep, Nigel's sister. She was on the British team at the notorious world championships at Gawler... came pretty high up in the order with Justyn Thyme. Was also on the GB team with Dutch Treat, and completed Badminton/Burghley etc. many times. Her married name is now Vintcent. And she is an excellent trainer... one of the best. Oh, and lovely :-)

My daughter enjoyed a clinic with her 2 years ago ,only problem was ditches .
Our horse was not having any of it [that is why we never evented him] and she gave up on him and said he would never event.
We went to Nigel a few weeks later and he said.He will go over it even if I have to bring your lunch dinner and breakfast out to you.He is not going in any other direction except over that ditch.15 minutes later he jumped it ,and again and again.
He has since evented and has never had a problem and came 6th in the intro champ, has qualified for the prenovice regional and went clear round his first novice at Gatcombe.

How interesting! I remember an incident like that when i was teaching at pony club, a pony had refused to go over a ditch all week at a 5 day rally, i taught this pony at the next rally, at the same venue, slapped a lunge line on him, stood the other side with rider on top and dragged him over! he was perfect after that, and her mum was dead chuffed!

I think that I might have posted slightly unfairly because of course at Nigels it is his land and he can leave you there all day and the other course was very enjoyable but maybe not the time or facilities to sort a problem ,which Nigel has
