I have felt the urge to post as we have had yet another amazing morning out on hound ex with the Farmers Bloodhounds today!!

Over at Broadwell near Stow, we did a bit of jumping (Av was very honest and jumped very nicely despite me being a numpty for the first half and chucking the reins at her and basically saying "jump it if you want to!" :p, after a talking to by Matafleur I decided to stop being a numpty and actually help Av rather than hinder and it went much better!), a bit of a trot and a canter around, followed by sausage baps cooked on the barbeque!

I have been fox hunting for years and have had some great times but I cant believe how friendly eveyone is out with the bloodhounds. The commitee make an effort to find you, have a chat and see how you are geting on, no one shouts at you for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, there is a briefing first so everyone knows the plan and also some extremely helpful people on a quadbike following who are on hand to help with hounds horses and people- AMAZING!!.....and they meet at 10.30 so no 5 a.m. cubbing starts!! Feel very pleased and Av and her spotty friend (Matafleurs appy) loved it!!

ooohh and we educated some caravanners who were watching us trot past saying "They look so pretty but are they hunting animals?", when someone explained that we were in fact hunting men the 2 women got very excited much to the amusement of their hubbies stood next to them and thought that hunting men sounded like a fab idea and it should be done much more often hahahahaha!!
