I have felt the urge to post as we have had yet another amazing morning out on hound ex with the Farmers Bloodhounds today!!
Over at Broadwell near Stow, we did a bit of jumping (Av was very honest and jumped very nicely despite me being a numpty for the first half and chucking the reins at her and basically saying "jump it if you want to!" , after a talking to by Matafleur I decided to stop being a numpty and actually help Av rather than hinder and it went much better!), a bit of a trot and a canter around, followed by sausage baps cooked on the barbeque!
I have been fox hunting for years and have had some great times but I cant believe how friendly eveyone is out with the bloodhounds. The commitee make an effort to find you, have a chat and see how you are geting on, no one shouts at you for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, there is a briefing first so everyone knows the plan and also some extremely helpful people on a quadbike following who are on hand to help with hounds horses and people- AMAZING!!.....and they meet at 10.30 so no 5 a.m. cubbing starts!! Feel very pleased and Av and her spotty friend (Matafleurs appy) loved it!!
