Another Badminton question..

I’ve just realised that OH, the dog and I are driving to Cornwall next weekend and Badminton is right on the way! I was wondering if it is too late to get on the camp site or how you go about booking (can’t find any info on website) or if anyone knows any local camp sites? It’s not going to work out logistically to go to Badminton for the day and drive from Yorkshire to Cornwall so we really need to stay – are we too late?

I've looked and i can't find anything - It just says the box office is closed and tells you the prices to get in on the gate. I could be being blind though so I'll have another look!

Try a search for campsites near Bristol or Bath - those are the nearest big towns. North East Somerset is closish as well.

Oh, and on the Saturday, expect the M4 to be horrible on the approach to Badminton (same junction as Bath!!!!!)!!

Bristol or Bath Tourist information sites might well be able to help as well.

FYI there is a campsite, its fully booked for everything other than 2 man tents now. There are a list of other campsites on the website if you want anything other than a 2 man tent pitch.

The campsite on site is full but friends are staying in a proper caravan park down the road. Not sure how they found out about it though. Can ask them if you want?
