Now I have my membership through, I'm looking for my first show to enter. Anything coming up in the next few weeks seems to have "WQ" after the test. What does that mean - winter qualifier maybe, something like that?!
If so, does that mean it's likely the show will consist of many very serious, very stressed people trying to get their qualification?! ;)

And no it doesn't mean it will be full of stressed people, lol! Firstly Winter Regioanls aren't until next year so you have most of the rest of the year to gain qualification. Also you can get some points from non qualifiers so the WQs aren't massively oversubscribed. You may find that a few more enter those classes though, say if they have already got maximum number of points from non qualifiers and need some points from qualifiers. Generally the WQ tests are slightly harder too.

All shows will have a WQ or a SQ depending on the qualifying period. Completely normal regular test!

Have a good flick through the rulebook, should help out your mind at ease x
