Why can't they post times up a bit earlier than they do?

I am in at Munstead but suspect I will have to do dressage on Thursday. I need to book the day off work if so, how long do you think it will be before I know? Surely they won't leave it until the Wednesday (you can phone for times between 6 and 9).

Is it too much to ask for times to be posted a week before the event to enable those of us who work to book time of if necessary, or to book stabling if you have a really early time?

I thought times had been posted to everyone.
Well I saw that they had been posted to people going to Munstead on a different forum, so maybe your times are just late arriving in the post?

They generally send an some rough timings in the Entry Confirmation Letter. It also tells you which section you are in, so you can estimate your times from that. Have you have your Entry Confirmation Letter yet?

I entered online - does that make a difference?

Go to BDWP and look at the timetable, You should be able to look at section lists and work out roughly when you go.Allow 10 horses per hour in dressage.

Secs generally run the section in the order the section list is up, barring a few special requests.

I think that you don't get an Entry Confirmation Letter if you enter online at bdwp - no doubt somebody will correct me if this is wrong! Which section are you in? It is generally section A that does the day-before dressage.

I am taking Han over to Richmond for the BD there... we are doing P17 and N36 (I think)

Ah, I'm section A. I think I will send a postal entry next time then - I thought they charged you more for an on-line entry to cover any postage costs they might have. Well I will learn.

Wonder why they don't put it on the website as I thought they preferred on-line entries.

All the info that they send by post is available online, the charge is to cover what the banks charge.

The only info you get by post is which section and the timetable

But still no info on-line about whether I will need to book the day before off to do dressage, although I know people in other sections who have been told by post. I will have to e-mail them tomorrow to find out.

If anyone has happened to have been sent the timetable by post I was wondering is PN section G - the first of the PN sections, due to be doing dressage the day before.

It's not up on BDWP yet. Thank you.

Strange, you only have section lists up, no timetable

No they are a bit slow. I have had a look at Great Witchingham which is on the same weekend and can see how it should work
