Going to be taking one of my girls out with the Readyfield Bloodhounds this season, but at the moment I am riding her in a Level 1 Myler loose ring snaffle, she loves it, but I am 100% sure I am not going to be able to hold her out hunting, so chaps any suggestions on what I could move her up to, she doesn't like too much in her mouth and doesn't like a nutcracker action. All advice greatly recieved.......... Thankies

My mate has hers in a myler comfort snaffle for schooling and a kimblewick when extra brakes are required.

My mare has a sprenger KK ultra, and then a pelham (with lozenge in middle) and two reins, so I only use the curb when I need it.

Don't know if this helps.

Yeh, i agree a Kimblewick as it will give slight poll pressure and has a port so less tongue pressure. You could even use it without the curb if your horse doesn't like it.
